This wine has complex lifted aromas of red fruit / dark cherries supported by spicy, savory oak. The palate has attractive spicy dark cherry flavours, fine grained tannins that combine to produce a lovely textural mouthful. A very typical Paringa Pinot noir with great power, but poise and elegance as well.
“As ever, the colour is bright and deep, the bouquet a wonderland of red fruits, purple fruits and spices, the palate with inimitable Paringa Estate poise and drive, the mouthwatering array of black cherries and spices lifting and expanding on the finish in best peacock’s tail fashion.” 96 points, James Halliday
